Bruce Barton
Senior Pastor
Dr. Bruce Barton, Senior Pastor of Central Baptist Church, is a Biblicist, teaching no-nonsense Bible truths with natural humor and illustrations. He has been uncompromising with the Word of God for 48 years, with 20+ years at Central. He and his wife have been married for 42 years, they are parents to three grown, married children and also have four grandchildren. His hobbies are golf, landscaping, and Alabama football.
Chuck Giambra
Children's Pastor
Chuck Giambra began working in the Children’s Ministry in 1978 shortly after he was saved. Chuck has worked in all aspects of the children’s ministry. Including Children’s Church, AWANA, Sunday School, and the Bus Ministry. Chuck was ordained at Central Baptist Church in 1980 and was married at Central Baptist Church in 1981. He and his wife have three grown children, and three grandchildren. Affectionately called "Brother Chuck," his desire as Children’s Director is for our children to get grounded in the Word of God so they make the correct decisions in life, while serving the Lord.
Buddy Maynard
Pastor’s Assistant
Rev. Buddy Maynard directs the Student Ministries in our church and leads our congregational worship. He was called to preach in 1978, graduated from Liberty Baptist College in 1985 with a Pastoral Ministries major and furthered his education in 2016 with a master's degree in education. He has been married to Christina for 38 years, who is a Nurse Practitioner for a non-profit in Panama City. They have three grown sons and fourteen grandchildren. His experience has ranged from a Senior Pastor for 13 years, Director for a troubled boy’s home for 28 years, and a representative for a Bible publishing company. Their desire is to model Christ to our young people practically and socially so they can become well rounded believers when adults.
