Bruce Barton
Senior Pastor
Dr. Bruce Barton, Senior Pastor of Central Baptist Church since 2006, is a Biblicist, first and foremost teaching no-nonsense Bible truths with natural humor and illustrations. He is uncompromising with the Word of God. Pastor and Donna have been married for 38 years, meeting at Tennessee Temple University as students, and they are parents to three children. Their son Bradley, a US Air Force Tech Sergeant, is married to Dakota, and they live in Little Rock, AR with their two children, Charlotte and Rhett. Brady, a Lending Department Supervisor for Tyndall Bank, is married to Savannah, and they live in Panama City Beach, FL with their daughter, Violet. Joanna, a certified Dental Hygienist, lives in Ft. Walton Beach, FL with her husband, Evan Blackwood, and golden retriever, Benny.
Pastor Barton has had successful pastorates in Virginia, Alabama, and North Carolina, before coming to Florida. His vision for Central Baptist Church is large, building upon the great foundations of our church’s 67 year heritage. His strategic leadership has been the facilitator for preparing our church for the future with Biblical soundness for productive ministries.
Chuck Giambra
Children's Pastor
Chuck Giambra began working in the Children’s Ministry in 1978 shortly after he was saved. Chuck has worked in all aspects of the children’s ministry. Including Children’s Church, AWANA, Sunday School, and the Bus Ministry. Chuck was ordained at Central Baptist Church in 1980. Chuck was married at Central Baptist Church in 1981 to Mischelle. He has three children Jonathan, Charity, and Joshua. He has three grandchildren. Chuck’s desire as Children’s Director is for our children to get grounded in the Word so they make the correct decisions in life.
