Senior Adult Ministries

IS THIS WHAT YOU THINK A SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY IS: The Senior Adult Ministry has been designed to be a "youth group" for the "young at heart" even though they may be "up in years!" It can include fellowships and activities that will encourage this unique generation to stay active and involved. Most in this group will be retired, many will have lost a mate, and most will have children who are busy with their own lives, thus, leaving a group of people who are prone to become lonely and disconnected. The Senior Adult Ministry is used to love and focus on these people through month activities, trips, and opportunities for service.

WELL, THINK AGAIN!  Our Senior Adults have active lives in and out of church.  Many still are working careers, many are so busy with family events and helping out that they have to squeeze activities in.  We have Senior Adults who are the leaders of other Central ministries - and that's what sets this group apart from the others.  Our Seniors are our greatest pool of wisdom and life experiences; they are in every ministry we have and add to each BECAUSE they are Seniors.  Yes, many have more time on their hands, but Central has work to be done!
